- The Business Analyst, Central Intake will initiate, execute and support the development of new and revised business processes and business requirements for the implementation of Central Intake. In addition to expert communication skills, this role is technical and requires both a strong IT and analytical acumen.- Here is what you will be doing:
-Perform in an Agile environment; document use cases and business requirements
-Facilitate sessions and meetings with clear agendas; minutes and follow up
-Build process flows of current and future state to support resulting solutions
-Meet project deadlines and schedules; help drive momentum through effective elicitation of requirements and adaptive strategies to obtain stakeholder input
-Lead and provide guidance to other BAs supporting initiatives with multiple requirement streams
-Train and support business and clinical staff on the use and integration of technology with business processes
-Prepare/maintain system documentation, user guides, process maps, operations documents and training manuals
-Interprets, summarizes and presents key findings to technical and non-technical audiences, management and clinical leads
-Support the stakeholder engagement plans, reports, templates, and tools to support business operations
-Support quality initiatives and reviews; suggest areas for improvement in internal processes, as well as possible solutions
-Work with teams across the organization to identify opportunities for process improvement.
-Provide operational support for issue resolution and service request management; when needed, perform root cause analysis; identify improvements, simplify processes and document them
-Ability to prioritize and manage on-going and multiple requests and system requirements to meet OH goals
-Bring expertise to other teams and share knowledge while on assignment
- Here is what you will need to be successful:
Education and Experience-
An undergraduate degree in computer science, business, health administration or related field is required.
-A master’s level degree in these fields would be an asset.
-Knowledge of project management methodologies would be an asset.
-Minimum of two years using research methods, appraising evidence, knowledge of the Canadian health care system
-Knowledge of business requirement and data collection/analysis is an asset.

-Self-starter with effective organizational and interpersonal skills
-Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and skilled at presenting complex concepts clearly and effectively for senior leaders.
-Exercises good judgment, with an ability to multi-task and work independently
-Able to collaborate with partners effectively across teams.
-Proven comfort with ambiguous mandates / challenges.
-Experience in partner engagement and facilitation of group consensus and decision making.
