We are currently seeking a dedicated Program Assistant to join our team who will contribute to overall success of the Human Resource Department by creating a positive and harmonious experience for all employees. You will need to have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to create long and lasting relationships.
**What You Will Do**:
- Work alongside the team in the planning and execution of all corporate events and program initiatives
- Assist the Human Resource Department with creation and ordering of business cards and marketing materials
- Assist monthly visa reconciliations, track, and maintain receipts
- Assist in the delivery of charitable donations, volunteer initiatives and similar programming
- Assist in delivery and execution of the Employee Rewards Program
- Administer ordering and delivery of internal and external corporate gifts
- Conduct various market research for a variety of assignments as directed
- Assist in the corporate travel program, arranging travel accommodations for internal and external clients
- Cover for reception personnel when needed
- Assist in communication, notices, letters and marketing as directed
- Maintain appropriate records and filing for both paper and electronic copies
- Attend and record minutes from meetings as directed
- Assist in tracking and facilitating requisitions, and the issuance of vouchers under the workwear program
- Other duties as assigned by Corporate Wellness Specialist or Director
**You Will Bring**:
- Post-secondary education from a recognized administrative program
- Minimum two Years of experience in a similar role
- Always maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion
- Self-starter who shows strong initiative and motivation
- Strong problem solving and root cause identification skills
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge in Microsoft programs
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be personable, enjoys working with others, and able to create strong lasting relationships
- Must hold a reputable attendance record and be available to work overtimes as necessary
- Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
