**Company description**

Linmark Steel Inc. is a CWB Certified structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication and installation company specializing in commercial, industrial, and major infrastructure projects. Our head office is located in Calgary, Alberta and we have 3-5 year contracts in British Columbia.

Linmark Steel is currently seeking a Site Supervisor to manage one of our many large projects in the Vancouver area.

**Duties**:

- Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and building codes
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues that may arise
- Prepare and submit progress reports to senior management
- Provide leadership and supervision to construction crew upwards to 30-40 employees

**Skills**:

- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in budgeting and cost control
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Experience in construction project management
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and quality control

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $38.00-$45.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
