**Overview**
We are looking for a site foreman with a crew of approximately 8 pushers for mid-high end hotel furniture installation in Vancouver, BC.

**Responsibilities**
- Receive, assemble and install furniture according to our specifications and customer requirements.
- If required, transport furniture items safely to installation sites, ensuring no damage occurs during transit.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service throughout the installation process.
- Perform quality checks on completed installations to ensure all items are securely assembled and functioning properly.
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise during installation and provide effective solutions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and materials are stored properly after use.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding project status and any challenges encountered.
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of all workers on site.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate the work activities of all trades.
- Be alert to changes and potential problems, particularly those involving safety on the jobsite and adherence to regulations.
- Ensure Health & Safety standards for safe working conditions are always observed by all persons on site.
- Plan and organizing on the job training as required during the progress of the work.

**Requirements**:

- Construction experience 1 year
- Must be able to lead a team effectively, while working collaboratively with other trades.
- Ability to solve problems with a positive attitude, while prioritizing client needs.
- Flexibility to work varying hours as needed based on project demands.
- Previous experience in furniture installation or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients professionally.
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 100 pounds) and perform physical tasks associated with furniture assembly.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

**Work Environment**:

- Constantly working with other trades, required to meet deadlines with severe time constraints, regularly working both outside and inside.

**Salary**:

- Foreman - $35/hr **or**$2k/month min. fixed rate to prioritize our projects when installation and deficiency site visits are scheduled.
- Pushers/Installer - $25/hr
