We're looking for a **Deployment Technician** to join our team This is an **on-site role** working directly in-person with various clients on a daily basis in-house and at client locations.

We are an award-winning IT company based in Canada. We have been in business for 20 years, assessing, deploying, and maintaining technology for business and non-profit organizations in Healthcare, Education, Transportation, etc., throughout Western Canada.

**Desired Skills & Experience**:

- Degree or diploma in a computer-related program at an accredited technical college
- A+ certification
- Comfortable with doing on-site work in customers’ business locations (on-site work).
- Hands-on experience supporting a multitude of operating systems, platforms, and devices.
- Knowledge using PXE or Server Based Imaging with User State Migration Tool (USMT) to install base Windows 11 images onto new computers.
- Proficient in MS-Windows administration and elements like Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 platform with some certification desirable.
- Some exposure to network components such as switches, firewalls and wifi access points.
- Good knowledge of IT concepts and overall strategies, methodologies, practices & procedures.
- **Ability to work independently**:

- Strong organizational and time management skills;
- Strong analytical and problem resolution skills, and
- Customer Service Focus and Interpersonal Skills

**What you will do**:

- Troubleshooting and some break/fix work on desktops and laptops in-house and at client locations.
- On-site assessment and assistance during network outages.
- Printer, scanner and other peripheral setups in client environments.
- Imaging of laptops and desktops with Windows 11.
- On-site deployment of new equipment in customer’s offices including data migration.
- On-site assistance to senior network technicians during project rollouts and new client onboarding.

**Additional Requirements**:

- Valid Manitoba driving license.
- A background check is required.
- Ability to do overnight stays for rural deployments if required
- Travel to several client locations around Winnipeg will be required
- Bend and reach repetitively
- Lift up to 30 lbs.

**Experience**:

- troubleshooting: 1 year (required)
- imaging of laptops and desktops with Windows 11: 2 years (preferred)

**Schedule**:
8:00 am to 5:00pm
