The Clinical Manager leads multidisciplinary teams in a service area that is continuously evolving to meet the needs of both clients and the community, supporting individuals during withdrawal management and throughout their transitions to ongoing services. This role is essential in ensuring timely, accessible, and people-centred support. Key responsibilities include establishing standards of client care, overseeing staff development and supervision, coordinating quality improvement initiatives and evaluation, managing financial planning and control, and maintaining a positive work environment. The Clinical Manager fosters collaboration within teams and serves as a role model, mentor, and coach to all team members, with the goal of optimizing both client and staff experiences. Additionally, the Clinical Manager works closely with medical staff within the portfolio, ensuring ongoing communication and incorporating medical staff input into quality improvement and service planning initiatives. **Qualifications**: Education/Experience: - Master's degree in health sciences/health promotion or clinical related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience relevant to the position - Extensive knowledge and related work experience within the mental health and addictions field - Minimum of five years of progressively responsible leadership and administrative experience - Extensive knowledge and skills with quality improvement methodology - Knowledge of and ability to interpret applicable provincial legislation and related regulations, accreditation and professional standards and practices, safety regulations; understanding of withdrawal management standards of care and psychosocial rehabilitation principles and related addiction and mental health best practices.
