Service Coordinator

Ottawa, Canada SECUR Fire Protection Full time

The Service Coordinator is responsible for: 1) Organizing, coordinating and assigning service work to all technical personnel, 2) Preparing, meetings and reviewing assessments with technicians. 3) Liaise and coordinate service work with customers. 4) Pricing 5) Work orders.

**1) Coordinate service work**
- Review all pending service calls and prioritize
- Connect technical personnel and assign work
- Coordinate work orders and materials
- Order materials when required
- Organize and coordinate sub-contractors
- Ensure all proper documentation is attached to the work orders
- Meet with Operations Manager to discuss any job estimates that require review. General understanding of NFPA, ULC, and Ontario Fire Code.

**2) Preparing monthly technician meetings**
- Schedule monthly technician meetings and coordinate with the inspections team
- Order any materials for the meetings
- Take and distribute minutes

**3) Liaise and coordinate service work with customers**
- Schedule inspection repairs and service work with customers
- Prioritize service call and dispatch as required
- Coordinate and work closely with the inspection team
- Prepare annual inspection quotes as required
- Send out inspection repairs quote and report to customer for approval
- Follow-up with customer to ensure customer satisfaction after completion

**4) Pricing**
- up-to-date information for all suppliers
- review all suppliers’ discounts on a routine basis
- Update pricing in Vista as required

**5) Work orders**
- Open and create work orders with all necessary information for service technician
- Assign work odder to technician
- Attach any required documentation
- Review and complete work orders
- Update all documentation and send to customers and file.
- prepare work orders for financing.

**Knowledge**
- Experience: _
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in the service industry
- Key Skills: _
- Proficient computer skills
- leadership skills
- ability to work with little direction and assume responsibility
- Ability to work well with a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Able to make immediate decision

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Administrative: 2 years (required)
