**Job Overview**:
The Garde Manger Prep Cook is responsible for preparing and packaging various items, including salads, dressings, and proteins, for our clients. Working under the supervision of the Executive Sous Chef, you will collaborate with the team to complete daily orders within specified timelines. The role requires the ability to learn how to create prep sheets, follow recipes, keeping top the par levels for mise en place, and maintain standards set by the Executive Chef.

General Responsibilities:

- Prep and package daily order for corporate and special events specifically on salads
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of your work area.
- Maintain sections in the cooler and freezer.
- Collaborate with the team and assist with daily cleaning tasks.
- Efficiently put away and rotate orders and stock.
- Follow recipes and maintain the standards set by the Chefs.
- Pay close attention to detail, especially with clients who have dietary restrictions or allergies.

**Requirements**:

- 3 years experience working as a cook in the food service industry
- Great knife skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- FoodSafe level 1
- Legal to work in Canada (minimum 2 years on work permit)

We are looking for energetic, dialed-in professionals with a positive attitude, great energy, and strong leadership to add to our extensive team.

**Full time schedule is Sunday - Thursday 7:00 am**start times but may depend due to business volume.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
