Chef de Partie, Line Cooks, Garde Manger

For the HOT KITCHEN, this will involve all aspects of the hot kitchen, including the full spectrum from breakfasts to high end custom catering. This will also include recipe development and testing.
Savoury City is a boutique catering company that focuses on both corporate daily delivery service as well as custom designed special events. Our focus is on locally and ethically sourced ingredients as well as from-scratch cooking. We've been in business for 15 years, have an excellent reputation, and are constantly growing.
We offer corporate daily deliveries of breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our roster includes an evolving list of hot and cold entrees as well as a substantial hors d'oeuvres menu. We design custom, bespoke menus for our clients, and we're consistently booked for special events and we are a preferred vendor at a number of top Vancouver venues.
We offer a daily hot lunch, benefits can be provided after 6 months and we are closed at Christmas.
**Requirements**:
Excellent cooking and presentation skills
Strong communication skills
Work strongly in a group situation or independently
Excellent organization and timing skills
Minimum of 3 years experience in a catering company, hotel or restaurant
Be able to lift 40 lbs of weight
Assets:
Driver's License
Red Seal Certification
Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
