- **An iconic establishment in Whistler since 1997, the Dubh Linn Gate Irish Pub is located in Whistler’s premier hotel property, Pan Pacific Mountainside. We provide the best Irish pub experience outside of Ireland and our team consists of some of the most skilled, friendly & energetic hospitality professionals around.**_

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Supervise kitchen staff
- Act as first aid respondent and ensure all kitchen staff complete a WSBC incident form if a worker is injured.
- Keep Executive Chef and Sous Chef appraised of any challenges or injuries that occur.
- Monitor quality of products being delivered to diners and done so in a timely manner.
- Ensure kitchen line is well stocked.
- Ensure excellent kitchen cleanliness.
- Prepare food items, cook menu items and plate dishes as per standards
- Follow recipes, portion controls and presentation specifications
- Work and deliver agreed standards in a fast-paced environment
- Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
- Prepare, serve and store foods according to Health & Safety Guidelines; Maintain a clean and safe station
- Set up and break down/clean of station
- Work with and train kitchen helpers as required
- Perform additional duties as requested by the Executive Chef or Sous Chefs as required

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Previous experience cooking in a fast paced, high volume environment
- Good multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Team player
- Ability to maintain a clean work environment
- Proficient in English verbal and written communication
- Ability to work under pressure
- FoodSafe Level 1 certification an asset
