Merlin Plastics Group is a processor of post-consumer and post-industrial plastic. We are dedicated and committed to providing environmental services for the packaging industry in an economically efficient, environmentally sound, and socially responsible fashion.

Merlin Plastic Group is looking for laborers to audit and sort materials or products for recycling. They will ensure the quality control of the bales and will perform audits. Duties might include cleaning, sweeping, and shoveling materials.

**Responsibilities and requirements**:

- Operate the box dumper to get the material on the conveyor.
- Separate material on the conveyor into different commodities.
- Place the sorted material into the bins provided and weigh them
- Write findings on a form and give it to the supervisor
- Clean contamination out of bales by hand, using pliers
- Experience in a plant/warehouse is considered an asset
- Able to lift up to 30-40 pounds (a few times per day, from the conveyor on the scale and back)
- Working communication skills
- Adhere to Health and Safety standards and have a safety-first work style
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Able to work fast-paced environment
- Consistently reliable and dependable.

**Shift Hours**
- Night shifts
- Hours might not be transit friendly
- Must need a car after late night hours
