**Summary**
The Liberal Party of Canada is seeking a permanent, full-time Reporting Manager, for an opportunity to join a dedicated team of staff to support Justin Trudeau and our Liberal team as we work to keep Canada moving forward. Occasional overtime may be required.

The Reporting Manager position is responsible for the preparation of various financial reporting and analytical activities and provides support during the audit and in budgetary process of the organization.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Participate in the month-end reconciliation and closing process
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and various financial reports and schedules.
- Support the annual budgeting process, coordinate, and communicate with operational stakeholders
- Support the annual audit by completing the working paper
- Prepare and file sales tax returns for the organization
- Recommend the improvement of accounting system; coordinate the implementation of the upgrades of accounting system
- Maintain the accounting files for the investments and the capital assets
- Recommend the improvement of internal control and overall financial operating efficiencies.

**You’ll need to have**
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in similar role
- Post-secondary degree in business or accounting
- CPA designation or at the final stages
- Ability to manage priorities
- Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point).
- Experience in Canada Election Act would be an asset
