This job provides support to all accounting and reporting functions including the accounting/reporting needs of Brookfield Global Integrated Solutions staff members.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesSupport the preparation & coordination of planning, reporting, cost control & client interfaceEnsure diligence for work initiation & authorization, work implementation & control, inspection & documentation of completed work, & paymentEnsure data integrity through the management of data quality reviews & the implementation of data management processesSupport internal & external audit requirementsSupport the collection revenues, maintain records of revenues for each portfolio & comply with the requirements of the Financial Administration Act (FAA) & associated federal Receipt & Deposit of Public Money Regulations, 1997 (SOR/98-128)Provide additional support to the Portfolio Financial/Reporting Mgr. as requiredSupport the preparation & analysis of various financial reportsOther duties as assignedKnowledge & SkillsUniversity graduation or professional certification in accounting and computer systems with 3-5 years’ experience in a financial accounting positionStrong customer relation skillsAbility to lead and be a team playerAbility to meet deadlines with attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsLicenses and/or Professional AccreditationAt least one of CPA (CA, CMA or CGA)At BGIS we believe that diversity and inclusion is a key business driver, such that we never lose sight of its importance as it is woven into the fabric of our organization.
