We have an exciting opportunity for an **Analyst **to join our Pooled Funds Operations team. Our team provides operational oversight of the pooled funds and bring together the expertise of various functions into one team. You will have the chance to work with different stakeholders to contribute to business decisions regarding the establishment and operations of these funds. You’ll be a great fit if you love to problem solve, enjoy working in a time-sensitive environment, and have an interest and experience in the investment industry

**What You Will Do**
- Go-to person for pooled fund related inquiries; working with investment managers, external custodians/fund administrators and internal teams on funds based in the EU, Cayman Islands, US, Cayman Islands and Canada.
- Design and implement new processes as required
- Work with the Invest Managers, Product Management, Legal and Transitions Management teams in new fund launches, terminations, and restructures
- Analysis of distributions, expenses, implication of large client redemptions, tax considerations, accrual rates, and others as requested
- Solving complex problems relating to tax, fund accounting, and operations
- Review incomes and expenses used in net asset value calculation by custodians
- Analyzing pooled fund distributions for accuracy
- Completion of regulatory reporting and tax filings (HST attribution, Pooled Fund Filing, etc.)
- Monitor unitholder activity within the funds to ensure the funds are in compliance with regulatory and tax requirements
- Working closely with the Senior manager of Pooled Funds on strategic initiatives

**What Will Help You Succeed**
- At least 3 years of experience in fund accounting, fund operations, or investment management operations
- Experience with EU, US and Cayman funds is preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting concepts (ex. net asset value, fund distribution, financial statements)
- Proven analytical experience in modelling large volumes of complex data
- Excellent writing, listening and presentation skills with a proven ability to disseminate information effectively to other employees at all levels of the organization
- Well organized with strong attention to detail, able to focus on multiple priorities for extended periods of time and is capable of working under pressure and tight deadlines
- A natural talent for creative and independent thinking; continuous learner, always looking for ways to improve
- Enjoys challenging work in a close-knit team
- A university degree (or similar) in a relevant field such as Economics, Commerce or Accounting
