**Job Title: Business Analyst**

**Job Summary**:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Software Business Analyst with a background in construction software to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our development team and our clients in the construction industry. Your primary responsibility will be to gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of software solutions tailored to the unique needs of construction professionals. Experience in the construction industry is a plus.

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements related to construction software solutions.

2. Conduct thorough research and analysis of industry trends, competitor products, and client feedback to identify market opportunities and inform product development decisions.

3. Translate business requirements into clear and detailed functional specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams.

4. Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings with clients and internal teams to gather requirements, clarify ambiguities, and prioritize features based on business value and feasibility.

5. Work closely with software developers, architects, and quality assurance testers to ensure that solutions meet business objectives and technical requirements.

6. Conduct regular reviews and assessments of software functionality, usability, and performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.

7. Provide ongoing support and assistance to clients during the implementation, deployment, and post-launch phases, ensuring a smooth transition and customer satisfaction.

8. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop product messaging, collateral, and demonstrations targeted at construction industry clients.

**Qualifications**:
1. bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.

2. Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Product Manager in the software industry.

3. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into actionable plans.

4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

5. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Trello is preferred.

6. Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) or relevant industry certifications (e.g., CM-BIM) is a plus.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
