Operations Coordinator

Fusion Security continues to grow and provide professional security services throughout Greater Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, with clients in a wide variety of sectors, including government, retail, commercial sites, industrial sites and residential areas. We are searching for qualified professionals to join our team, where you can make an impact through your exceptional customer service and communication skills.
**OVERVIEW**
**POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Planning and scheduling static security officers for sites as required
- Assigning tasks to Field Support Supervisors
- Maintaining communication with supervisors, site managers, and security officers
- Responding to emergency calls and giving direction
- Valid BC Security License
- High School diploma; post-secondary education is an asset
- 1+ years of experience in the security industry
- 1+ years of experience in a scheduling, dispatching, or supervisory role
- 1+ years in an administrative and data entry role is an asset
- Technical skills including advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, the Windows Operating system, and the ability to type at least 70 WPM

- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build and maintain positive relationships with Fusion Security staff and clients alike

- Proven organizing and planning skills
- Flexibility to work varied and extended hours, as business dictates
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Ability to make decisions and work without close supervision
- Ability to handle stress and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong multi-tasking abilities to effectively complete tasks in timely manner
- Ability to concentrate on a task over a period of time without losing focus
- Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing so that others will understand and follow directives
- The ability to learn and adapt quickly to different operating systems and software programs
- Ability to be proactive
- Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
- Ability to deal fairly and tactfully with employees, providing clear and consistent leadership and guidance when speaking to security officers
- Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately, assess and evaluate situations effectively, and take appropriate action
**SHIFT STRUCTURE**
- ** Full time**: 40 hours per week
- ** Shift Model**: 12-hour graveyard (overnight) or daytime shifts based on a 4 day on/ 3 day off schedule
- ** Availability**: 7 days a week including weekends
- ** Location**: Fusion Security's Head Office at 4321 Still Creek Drive in Burnaby
