CNC Machinist

We not only machine fittings and flanges, we also manufacture spectacle products, bleed rings, and various pipeline related products.

**Job Requirements**:

- Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
- Set up and operate CNC machines to maximize the use of materials and equipment.
- Read measurement tools to perform precise measuring to ensure components are machined to the specific tolerances and surface finishes.
- Ensure quality meets or exceeds internal company and international standards
- Meet or exceed the scheduling requirements to ensure parts can be completed on or ahead of schedule.
- Be part of a work environment that promotes success, teamwork, quality, and continuous improvement
- Perform work in accordance with safety program and procedures, with due care and attention for both yourself and your co-workers
- Ability to be organized and keep work area clean.
- Perform daily maintenance of machines and equipment in accordance with preventative maintenance programs

**Qualifications**:

- CNC machining experience required
- Demonstrated proficiency, through pre-employment testing, in reading comprehension, writing and basic math calculations in the English language
- Knowledge and use of CNC programing is considered an asset
- Safe and efficient use of hand tools required
- Experience with using various measuring instruments
- Previous crane operation experience is considered an asset
- Manual labor work experience is required
- Previous experience in a production/manufacturing machining or assembly environment
- Oil and gas industry experience is considered an asset

**Physical Demands**
- Ability to move or transfer products with an overhead crane.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. when required. While performing the duties of the job,
- The employee is regularly required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms.

**Salary**: Negotiable based on experience & knowledge

**Salary**: $23.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
