**Payroll Administrator**

**Key Information**:

- ** Must have a minimum of two to three years of payroll administration experience.**:

- ** Must be able to assist and support with all payroll administrative tasks and general office duties.**
- ** Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Must be willing to work overtime when needed.**:

- **Hourly rate is dependent on experience.**:

- ** Health benefits, and vacation pay offered.**
- Assist in processing timesheets and producing pay cheques for a large number of employees on a weekly basis, including monthly union reports and remit payments for union benefits.
- Process wage increases per union schedules.
- Respond to Government inquiries in a professional manner and produce letters of employment.
- Support other accounting functions with regards to payroll and employee cost allocation, which may include general office duties as required.

**Experience and Certification Requirements**:

- A minimum of two to three years of payroll administration experience in a unionized environment required.
- Must have the ability to read and interpret multiple collective agreements and determine related payroll requirements, with working knowledge of payroll databases.
- A diploma or post-secondary in Administration would be considered an asset.
- Have the ability to make quick decisions in a demanding environment, where your performance could have an impact on other employees.

**Education**: A diploma or post-secondary in finance, such as payroll or accounting would as asset.
