Imperial Dade Canada, leading national distributor, has a job open in Montreal. Under general supervision, this position is responsible for processing Accounts Payable Trade and Customer Billing transactions, as well as resolving pricing and quantity discrepancies. Create Direct and Tax credit adjustments to customers. This position collaborates with Sales, CSR’s Purchasing, Tax and Accounting to ensure timely and accurate processing. This position is responsible for month-end close procedures. This position is required to meet all scheduled monthly financial reporting and tax deadlines, and provide accurate and timely analysis and research as needed.

**Responsibilities**:

- Analyzes and verifies internal consistency, completeness, and arithmetic accuracy of account documents and makes adjustments
- Performs other related duties, including administrative support that supports the accounting overall processes.
- Creates and maintains Excel Spreadsheets.
- Processes trade vendor invoice and complex customer billing (such as Service/Contract)
- Creates and Processes credit requests related to Direct Billing or Tax adjustments
- Ensures all processed transactions are SOX compliant
- Researches and resolves Trade quantity and Pricing variances

**Qualifications**:

- Must be a self-starter and results driven.
- Positive and professional demeanor, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to interact effectively with a variety of team members in various departments.
- Collaborative skills: works cooperatively with others across the organization to achieve shared objectives.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Understanding how transactions impact other business partners
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel)
- High School education is required but associate degree or higher preferred.
- 4+ years of related experience in bookkeeping and accounting required.
- Understanding how transactions impact other business partners
- In Canada - bilingual (French and English) required.
- General accounting decisions regarding journal entries, etc.
