**Job description**
JCI Filtration and Separation Ltd (JCI) is a Canadian-owned distribution and manufacturing organization providing complete filtration products and solutions for industrial and commercial clients since 2004. JCI currently services the oil & gas, manufacturing, and chemical industries.
We have a new opportunity for a hungry sales professional based out of Calgary to cover Southern Alberta Territory. We are seeking a team player preferably with experience in filtration, Oil and Gas or B2B sales who enjoys a fast-paced environment with unlimited earning potential. Responsibilities include managing an assigned territory, lead development, achieving individual monthly, quarterly targets and overall growth of the individual territory sales pipeline.
We are looking for a driven individual who is a self-starter, cultivator and closer, focused on bringing new customers and growing existing accounts.
Position Responsibilities
- Actively manage and grow accounts in a large, pre-existing customer base as a sales and service representative
- Cold-call and service gas plants and other oil and gas clients by offering a wide range of filtration and separation products and continuously monitoring and meeting client needs
- Ensure continued visibility of JCI products with existing clients
- Troubleshoot processes and find custom solutions for customers through design review, technical reviews and site walk-throughs
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses
Minimum Requirements
- Prefer 5 - 10 years of outside sales representative / sales account representative experience in the Oil and Gas industry
- Technically inclined and eager to learn
- A valid driver's license with an excellent driving record
- Willing to be on the road 3-4 days per week
- High School Diploma required, post-secondary education an asset
- Basic understanding of the Oil and Gas Industry preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills are a must
- Able to drive to remote locations within Southern Alberta for customer visits
- Sufficiently fit to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability and willingness to be outdoors during all weather conditions
- Strong business acumen; analytical and mathematical skills are an asset
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task
- Working understanding and use of Microsoft 365.
JCI Group offers a competitive compensation package that includes a healthy base salary and a commission program with no cap on earnings and benefits.
Base salary range of $80,000 to $90,000 plus commissions
