Reporting to our Area AP Manager, you will be joining a dynamic team responsible for providing support for Accounts Payable across the Canada Area, focusing on our disposal process. This opportunity offers a variety of activities, opportunities for creativity and personal growth. It is an entry level position with great potential for advancement.

**What You’ve Got**
- Diploma/certificate in Accounting or high school diploma/GED and 1 year of relevant work experience
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; highly organized and outgoing, with a desire to learn
- Drive to be a team player and to hold yourself accountable

**You’re Good At**
- Data entry: efficient and accurate
- Following detailed processes: accounting requires defined controls and processes. AP needs to follow processes but not feel that creativity is limited - improvement suggestions are welcome
- Clear, professional communication, both written and verbal
- Excel: this is definitely a must-have but we use other computer systems too
- Adaptability and being open to change: AP team has ongoing changes in systems, process, ownership and responsibilities
- Working independently with limited supervision (knowing help and resources are always available and you have frequent check-ins)

**The Day-To-Day**
- Invoice processing: reconciling vendor invoices to operations tickets in Excel and other programs, tracking and investigating variances
- Relationship building: working through resolutions with multiple teams, both internal and external
- Teamwork: constant touch-points with your team, sharing suggestions, problem-solving, building efficiencies together
