HR Training and Development Consultant

_**BIS Safety Software**_ is a fast-paced, high-growth software company providing solutions for the safety industry. We are expanding our team and seeking a full-time Training and Development Consultant to join our People and Culture department.
This role is an in-person position in our Sherwood Park office.
- Able to identify skill and competency gaps and how to close the gap by designing, delivering, and facilitating learning solutions for individuals and groups

- Consulting with team leads and team members to identify learning needs and designing learning solutions that bridge skill gaps and support the attainment of business objectives
- Working collaboratively with team leads and People and Culture to address learning gaps and opportunities, rolling out training programs for new hires and existing team members
- Facilitating and assisting, where needed, with the delivery of training programs as a secondary instructor
- Working with People and Culture to assist in the development of skill assessments for recruiting purposes
- Monitoring the frequency of training programs while also ensuring their effectiveness; updating as required
- Assisting with various People and Culture tasks as needed, including recruiting and onboarding of new team members
**Qualifications**:
- 1-2 years of experience in creating and facilitating learning and development curriculum, changing individual and organizational behaviors, and soft skill development
- 1+ year of experience in Human Resources
- Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Human Resources or similar field is considered an asset
- Intermediate experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Sharepoint)
