Position Summary:
Sea to Sky Orthopaedics located in Whistler and Squamish is looking for a medical office administrator to join our multidisciplinary clinic.

This position performs a variety of medical office administration and clerical duties such as:

- Regular administrative and reception duties: registers patients, answers telephone, general correspondence, record keeping, chart notes, reports, medical billings, data entry and word processing, records, transcribes, types, drafts, creates, updates all forms of correspondence;
- Communicating with labs, healthcare providers, and insurance companies;
- Scheduling and confirming appointments;
- Coordinating appointment waitlists and surgical waitlists;
- Leading patients to exam rooms and optimizing clinic flow;
- Maintaining medical inventory by coordinating new supplies as needed.

Qualifications:

- Medical Office Assistant or other administrative role: 1 year (preferred)
- Medical Office Assistant Certificate (an asset)
- Proficiency with computers and all office machines
- Good English skills
- Reliable attendance.

Skills and Abilities:

- Demonstrated ability to work effectively independently and with others.
- Demonstrated ability to utilize and understand Medical Terminology.
- Knowledge of EMRs: Plexia or other EMR experience is an asset.
- Ability to balance competing priorities and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Monday - Friday

Full-time Permanent

Location: Must be willing to work in both Whistler and Squamish locations

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

**Benefits**:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
