**Your Role**

CPC Pumps International Inc. is a part of the Atlas Copco Group, a world-leading industrial group present in more than 180 countries, over the span of approximately 150 years. CPC Pumps specializes in designing, manufacturing, testing, and servicing of engineered heavy duty process centrifugal pumps (fully API 610 Compliant) for the CCUS, Green Energy / Circular Economy, H2, LNG, Chem-Petrochem and power-generating industry since 1957.

CPC Pumps is looking for a talented professional to join our team to fill the role of **Shipper/Receiver.**

**Purpose**

The **Shipper/Receiver** ships, receives, records, and stocks incoming and outgoing products, parts, materials, and equipment.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Take instruction from manager and responsible for material handling operations scheduled for jobs, service, or repair
- Determine method of shipment and arrange shipping and prepare bills of lading, customs forms, invoices, and other shipping documents manually or by computer
- Review and verify incoming and outgoing documentation are correct with product quantity, description, and specification
- Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually or by computer, pack goods to be shipped and affix identifying information and shipping instructions
- Boxing, crating and uncrating activities for incoming outgoing products or material
- Perform visual inspection, reporting any damages, discrepancies, or shortages with products or material
- Unpack, code and route goods to appropriate storage areas
- May operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods

**To succeed, you will need**

**Qualification Requirements**
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to operate all lifting/moving devices available upon training
- Mechanically inclined, familiar with handling tools, cutting tools and mechanical equipment
- Strong computer/technical skills are preferred
- Must be safety and environmentally focused

**Education and/or Experience**
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- 8 years shipping/receiving/material handling experience is preferred
- Forklift certification/training is an asset

**Physical Demands**
- Ability to occasionally lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortably able to perform repetitive motions using finger, wrist, and shoulders
- Ability to remain standing for the duration of your shift

**Work Environment**
- Ability to work in a high noise area
- Ability to work around overhead cranes, forklifts, machines, and equipment
- Must wear personal protective equipment, including safety glasses and steel toed boots
