As a member of the food and beverage team at The Hamilton Club, you are a positive, enthusiastic, team oriented individual who is passionate about hospitality, has a keen eye for detail and strives to surpass member expectations.

Our servers and bartenders are responsible for consistently providing top notch service to members in all dining areas by providing prompt service, maintaining strong working knowledge of; all menu items, wine, beer, beverages, and daily features as well as Club events.

In keeping with The Hamilton Club standards, our servers and bartenders are expected to become familiar with member preferences thus offering personalized service.

**JOB DUTIES**
- Greet all members with a smile, make eye contact and address them by their surname
- Inform members of the daily features, including any wines, beers or cocktails
- Full knowledge of all menus including house wine, beers and liquor
- Offers guidance and makes recommendations of menu items
- Adhere to all regulations governing the service of alcohol
- Mix drinks, cocktails and other bar beverages as ordered
- Complete proper wine service when bottles are ordered to a table
- Inspect each plate for appearance and correctness
- Accurate and efficient use of the POS system, from inputting the order to presentation of the chit
- Maintain service levels for each table in assigned section from the moment the member arrives to when the member departs
- Go the ‘extra step’ to accommodate member requests and suggestions
- Continuously ensure that every member leaves satisfied and happy with their experience.
- Support and assists teammates as needed and demonstrates team mentality through sharing of information
- Complete pre-shift duties ensuring adequate levels of stock and mise en place items
- Attend and participate in daily briefings, training sessions and staff meetings
- Be continually aware of and maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene and dress, and conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times
- Treat fellow staff members with respect and courtesy maintaining a positive environment
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including opening, closing, weekends and holidays
