**Description**:
We are currently looking for a working
**lead hand** to join our installation team. In this role you will perform residential sewer lateral excavations, installations, and waterproofing.

**Job Type**:Full Time

**Salary**:$32-38 per hour

**Key Job Responsibilities**:

- Perform sewer repairs, pipe bursting, pipe lining, and install weeping tiles and waterlines.
- Use various excavation methods (Backhoe, bobcat, hand dig) to access repairs and installations.
- Work with management in the organization and preparation of jobs. This includes reviewing upcoming job sites with management in order to plan ahead for the job.
- Assign tasks to crew members and ensure the job stays on schedule.
- Maintain communication with management and dispatch, reporting on job progress, daily activities, and any equipment or material needs.
- Operate equipment and vehicles including trailers.
- Assist in the development of department processes.
- Practice safe working habits including but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment; shoring of holes; and vehicle and machine safety.
- Clean up work sites including, but not limited to cementing, removal of garbage and/or materials.
- Demonstrate a high level of customer service, support, and care for the customers property.

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Valid drivers license with a clean drivers abstract required.
- Prior experience with excavations and digging equipment required.
- Prior knowledge of sewer, waterlines, and weeping tile systems considered an asset.
- Ability to lead a team.
- Hard worker who is determined to find solutions.
- Positive attitude.
- Reliable team player.
