**Procurement Manager**
Richcraft is looking for a dynamic individual to fill the role of Procurement Manager.
**Responsibilities**:
- Plans, organizes, directs, and controls activities related to the procurement function at Richcraft.
- Negotiate, award and administer contracts according to established legal and operational company standards.
- Develop and implement processes and mechanisms to support the smooth execution of all contracts.
- Prepare detailed cost budgets, project timelines and establish milestones for defined projects.
- Designs, implements, manages, and monitors procurement reporting systems to meet company requirements.
- Continuously evaluates market, delivery, and pricing to determine present and future material availability to maximize profitability.
- Recruits and maintains suppliers that provide high quality products and services at a better price while maintaining the highest code of ethics and conduct.
- Build constructive and effective working relationships with both internal and external team members, including direct reports
- Directly communicate with project team members, including site superintendents, suppliers, and trade partners.
- Prepare and maintain financial forecasts or the project, and updating key stakeholders when there are areas of concern
- Attend project site visits and be familiar with site progress
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 3 years experience in a leadership role
- 5 years relevant residential construction experience or equivalent.
- Accounting experience considered an asset
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office with strong focus in Excel
- Experience in using a construction-related software system (ie. Newstar, Builder MT, Mark Systems) is an asset
- Advanced understanding of home construction, current building codes, contracts and terminology, and architectural plans
- Excellent interpersonal skills; able to build relationships with outside contractors

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
