Membership Executive

**Position Overview**
Reporting to the Supervisor of Membership Services, this position is responsible for excellent customer service, sales, hands-on member relations, supervising & training/coaching of staff as well as other administrative duties as assigned, all while adhering to the YMCA’s core mission, vision and values.
**Duties**
- Provides support to Association membership growth and retention strategic plans by ensuring quality member experience.
- Serve as champion for quality commitment and profiling the Y as advocate and community partner in support of healthy communities. Includes: promotion of comprehensive Y programming, timely issue resolution, maintenance of retention data, and front-line support to new and existing members
- Act as the first point of contact for member concerns and feedback and follow-up to resolve them.
- Ensure delivery of Serving All Member (SAM) quality standards through provision of welcoming, inclusive, and positive membership experience. Includes ensuring effective member onboarding, registration, record maintenance, collection, and financial assistance processes, in addition to facilitation of timely resolution of Member concerns
- Communicate with the Supervisor and team on any service concerns or issues that may affect YMCA quality.
- Complete administrative duties as assigned.
**Skills & Qualifications**
- A criminal record check and vulnerable sector check are required as a condition of employment
- Standard First Aid and Basic Rescuer CPR to be completed within 60 days of employment
- Able to work flexible hours, evenings and weekends will be required
- Bilingualism in French and English is an asset
- Exceptional customer service attitude, minimum of 2 years experience in customer service
- Strong communication skills, especially an outgoing personality
- Management experience considered an asset

Pay: $33,000.00-$35,000.00 per year
