Serene Escapes Day Spa is looking to add a Receptionist to our team

We are a full-service spa located at:
Creekside Shopping Centre
12 - 12192 Symons Valley Road NW

Our hours of operation are Monday
- Friday 8:45am-8pm, and Saturday and Sundays 10am-6pm.

**We are looking for someone very flexible and willing to pick up shifts / move around their schedule when other front staff go on vacation.**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Welcoming clients and ensuring the best experience possible.
- Answering the phone in a polite, friendly manner.
- Taking spa bookings, including managing daily schedules and optimizing efficiency for daily spa operations.
- Collecting payment and billing insurance companies directly as required.
- Educating spa clients about ongoing spa packages and monthly promotions.
- Keeping the spa clean and helping out other spa staff as needed.
- Assist with laundry and room change over as needed. Vacuuming every evening prior to leaving for the day.
- Handle client’s questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
- Ensuring all client information is entered in to the computer and client folders are properly filed.
- Data entry, as required.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
- Other duties as required. Assist in all areas of spa operation as requested by Spa Manager.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Advanced computer skills.
- High School Diploma.
- Must be self-motivated and possess the desire for self-development.
- Experience in a Spa/Massage Clinic environment is an asset.
- Experience with Direct Billing Services (TELUS eHealth, ProviderConnect, Claimsxchange, Blue Cross) is an asset.
- Knowledge in Dermalogica Skin Care is an asset.
- Being a team player - we require flexibility with scheduling in order to have coverage when other front staff go on holidays.
