**What we are looking for**
A self-motivated **IT Support Specialist** with a passion for technology, excellent customer service, a willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
As an **IT Support Specialist**, you’ll be responsible for providing technical support to clients regarding software and hardware matters. Your responsibilities will include investigating moderate to complex issues, responding to customer queries, running diagnostic programs, isolating problems, and implementing solutions.
The **IT Support Specialist**is a work from home position; however, the ability to occasionally work at client sites remains a requirement.
**What you’ll be doing**
- Providing remote and onsite support
- Supporting and maintaining client infrastructure, hardware, and software
- Assisting with the implementation of internal and client projects
- Participating in on-call rotations and providing after-hours support
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation
- Maintaining your technical knowledge and learning new products
- Completing other IT related duties as required
**What you’ll need to qualify**
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 6-12 months of hands-on experience in IT support, systems administration, or a related role (including co-op or internship experience)
- Knowledge of common IT systems, including Windows Server, Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, and Active Directory
- Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.)
- Basic understanding of hardware and software troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle
- A dedicated distraction-free workspace
- Solid problem solving skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent listening and communication skills
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
**What would make you stand out**
- Experience with Microsoft Azure & Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 productivity software & cloud-based services
- Experience with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
- Technical documentation skills
