**DEPARTMENT: Engagement, Quality & Improvement (EQI)**:
***The Engagement and Quality Improvement (EQI) Department works in large part to support the Joint Clinical Committees (JCCs) which include the: General Practices Services Committee (GPSC), Shared Care Committee (SCC), and Specialist Services Committee (SSC). EQI is comprised of four centres of expertise: Primary & Community Care Transformation, Quality Impact, Facility and Community Engagement and JCC Alignment. Driven by collaborative relationships between the Ministry of Health and Doctors of BC, and captured under the Physician Master Agreement, they are a group focused on developing and leveraging relationships, sharing knowledge and lessons learned and working together towards common goals to support improved patient outcomes, increased professional satisfaction and decreased system costs.

**THE TEAM: Quality Impact**:
The Quality Impact team leads initiatives which support physicians to develop and utilize leadership and quality improvement training, programs that address local and provincial gaps in patient care and delivers strategic project leadership and quality improvement resources to enable physicians and teams to implement patient care improvements as funded by the Shared Care Committee (SCC) and the Specialist Services Committee (SSC).

**THE JOB: Liaison, Quality Impact**:
Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Quality Impact, the Liaison, Quality Impact (QI) is responsible for the creation and development of clear project plans, as well as managing and monitoring timelines, schedules, resources and project reports for defined bodies of work focusing on project management and QI support tools and resources, additionally the Liaison will conduct post project evaluation to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements in order to effectively support business outcomes. By accurately defining scope and determining available resources, the Liaison develops and executes on clear, straightforward plans enabling teams to reach their full potential.

The Liaison works with the QI Management team and partners to define scope, and lead applicable projects, undertaking all aspects of the planning process. Additionally the Liaison acts as a conduit to various stakeholders. The Liaison will play a vital role in linking together needs and resources within a multi partnered environment.

- Leads the planning and implementation of change programs that impact critical functions and processes.
- Partners with other resource managers and change agents to identify opportunities for significant process enhancements.
- Recommends changes that impact strategic business direction.
- Proven ability to set expectations for monitoring, feedback systems and reviews performance trends.
- Evaluates progress and involves peers and team members in analyzing strengths and weaknesses in performance.
- Improves efficiency by spearheading pilots and planned functional change initiatives.

***Negotiating (I)**:
