Culinary Liaison

**Overview**: The Culinary Liaison acts as the crucial link between our clients’ culinary desires and the expertise of our catering partners. This role requires a passion for food and beverage, a deep understanding of culinary trends, and the ability to ensure seamless and exquisite dining experiences at every event. You’ll be responsible for guiding clients through menu selection, managing catering logistics, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and service are met.

**Salary**: $65,971 - year
**Experience**:
4-6 years of experience in the culinary industry, catering management, hospitality, or event planning with a strong focus on food and beverage. In-depth knowledge of various cuisines, dietary restrictions, and beverage pairings is essential. Experience in negotiating catering contracts and managing catering staff is preferred. Certifications in food safety and handling are a plus.
**Responsibilities**:
Consult with clients to understand their culinary preferences, dietary needs, and budget. Facilitate menu tastings and provide expert guidance on food and beverage selections. Liaise with catering companies to develop customized menus and ensure all logístical requirements are met. Manage catering contracts, timelines, and payments. Oversee the setup and execution of food and beverage service on event day, ensuring timely delivery and presentation. Troubleshoot any culinary-related issues that may arise during an event. Stay informed about the latest culinary trends and innovative catering approaches.
