This position is primarily responsible for the monitoring and maintenance of the Refrigeration Mechanical rooms, Boiler Rooms and associated equipment and auxiliaries. The mandate is determined by the Technical Standards and Safety Authority, and requires that the person in this position be in attendance during the operation of these devices, to ensure the safe efficient use of this equipment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform the facility maintenance to ensure the safe and reliable operation of the buildings and support systems
- Ensure timely completion of assigned Preventative Maintenance and Repair Work Orders
- Utilize CMMS to capture all defects and completion of PMs as described in the company’s work management system
- Ensure the continuous operation of the facility
- Take a customer service role in dealing with various people through out the facility.
- Take a leading role in the absence of the Chief Engineer during emergency events related to fire and spill emergencies until relieved by the Chief Engineer or Fire Warren
- Adhere to all applicable job procedures as outlined in SOP manual
- Adhere to GMP’s and Health and safety rules as outlined in employee handbook
- Perform all other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Experience in ammonia refrigeration
- Trouble shooting
- Customer service
- Self Starter
- Mechanical aptitude
- Organizes time well

**Qualifications**:

- Third Class Stationary Engineer Certificate with secondary trade ticket (millwright, electrician. Etc.)
- Knowledge of using a CMMS (SAP, Maximo, etc)
- Refrigeration “B” Operator certification
- Third Class Stationary Engineer Certificate
