Fitness Customer Experience Representative

Elevate Athletic House, sister company to Elite Sports Injury physiotherapy clinics, is committed to improving your life by focusing on the whole body using professional practices for both strength and recovery. Our recovery circuit is designed to reduce inflammation and increase circulation allowing the body to naturally heal and recover on its own. This is a pro-active, rather than, re-active approach to help the body recover faster. Our focus is on lifestyle clientele, with a core demographic ranging from 30 - 60 years of age. These active people run the gamut from marathon runners, to busy professionals. We align with Nike's definition of the term Athlete - "If you have a body, you are an Athlete" - Nike **WHAT IS A RECOVERY CIRCUIT?** Three modalities - which all work together to reduce inflammation and increase circulation. Compression therapy - Rapid Reboot compression therapy boots, more like pants (as they go from the feet up to the hips) These inflate similar to a blood pressure cuff. They start at the ankles/feet, working their way up towards the quads. These are experienced while lounging in a recliner. The cycle lasts 20 minutes. Infrared Sauna - Unlike a traditional sauna, infrared saunas heat your body from the inside outward, and provide light therapy. You do not have to break a sweat to get the multitude of health benefits. Contrasting Hydro therapy tubs - The big finale. The lifestyle recovery circuit ends with 3 minutes of hot tub, 1-minute cold tub x 3. This 12 minutes hydro therapy cycle increases joint mobility, boosts immune system and increases norepinephrine. **Additional features**: Guests are encouraged to enjoy a shower with Aveda hair product, Tiber River scrubs and hot towels. Our studio offers a perfect post-circuit stretch space - equipped with TheraBody products. **WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR** We are looking for staff who are motivated to create customized and thoughtful guest experiences for each client who walks through the door. The role of our staff is to educate, without overwhelming, to anticipate guests’ needs (did they forget their water?) while creating a friendly, welcoming environment. We have curated a space and circuit that provides professional level recovery modalities paired with luxury products, in a high-end facility. People who would thrive working here love to be of service to others. Someone who gets joy by seeing guests enjoy their experience. - Fitness or kinesiology background - Strong communication and customer service skills and experience - High degree of self-motivation - Multi-tasking guru - Passion for helping others, and a commitment to personal health and fitness - Excellent time management skills - Sales oriented **Responsibilities**: - **Guest relations** - answering phones, filling out client intake forms, helping with bookings, completing payments, curating their experience, and of course walking them through each part of the circuit. (Sauna, compression lounge and tubs) - **Opening/closing** - (turning on lights, saunas, music, checking daily booking, preparing for the day) - **Cleaning** - towels, floors, check and stock guest products **FACILITY HOURS** - Monday - Thursday: 10 - 7 - Fridays: 10 - 6 - Saturdays: 8 - 2 **Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent Part-time hours: 20 per week **Salary**: From $16.00 per hour **Benefits**: - On-site parking Schedule: - Day shift - Evening shift - Monday to Friday - Weekend availability Supplemental pay types: - Overtime pay Work Location: In person
