Toronto, Canada EmpowHERto Full time

**EmpowHERto** EmpowHERto partners with girls and young women from underserved communities between 14-21, empowering them with the necessary tools to thrive and effect positive systemic change. We provide programs focused on leadership, health & wellness, and financial literacy designed to boost their confidence and enhance their leadership skills in every area of life. We steadfastly believe in the potential of every girl to craft her success story; our mission is to provide them with the skills and knowledge necessary to turn their dreams into reality. **LeadHER** LeadHER is a 12 week virtual career-building program geared at female students aged 16-21 that aims to build empowered, purpose-driven young women capable of creating organizational change, self-advocating in the workplace, marketing themselves as an asset, and launching successful entrepreneurial ventures in a competitive business landscape. The program takes a unique "micro to macro" approach. - Participants first take a step back and question if they are aligning their work with their "why", define the interactions and undertakings that infuse their day with purpose, construct concrete steps towards big picture goals, and identify mental blocks that trap them in comfort zones and diminish their self-efficacy. - Finally, to equip students for the culminating project of the program - a market ready e-commerce business venture and concise business plan - students will be placed in small groups matched with industry experts that correspond to their product or service and take a deep dive into entrepreneurial mindsets, market segmentation and barriers to entry, brand positioning and identity, product management and pricing strategies, distribution plans with consumer touchpoints, basics of accounting, and MORE **Position Overview** We are recruiting workshop facilitators to become acquainted with, orally present, and support the development of slides decks & digital worksheets for EmpowHERto’s LeadHER curriculum. The curriculum provides detailed information on key concepts, instructions for activity facilitation, and prompts for group discussion, however, facilitators must feel comfortable commanding a small audience, presenting concept in an engaging & relatable manner, responding to questions on the spot, drawing comparisons to real world topics, and inserting their own experiences where relevant. **Open Positions** - _Self-Efficacy Facilitator_ - _Career-Building Facilitator_ - _Entrepreneurship Facilitator_ - _Business Landscape Facilitator_ - _Customer Journey Facilitator_ **Self-Efficacy Facilitator** - 1 in-person workshop x $150 stipend for sole facilitation_ **Session #1: Self-Actualization Needs & Purpose** - Students establish sources of accomplishment, invigoration, self-transcendence, and self-worth that are essential to their ideal reality; students gain insight into the most fulfilling and personally meaningful ways to spend their time, even if it means short-term discomfort. - 2 virtual workshops x $100 stipend each for sole facilitation_ **Session #2: Long-Term Goals & Potential Maximization** - Students reflect on the gravity of short-term inputs on long-term outcomes, the degree of control they have over their quality of life, actionable steps towards big picture goals, and whether or not they are extracting the full value of their resources to reach their potential; students gain a greater sense of accountability and reframe seemingly insignificant choices as determinants of their success. **Session #3: Self-Limiting Beliefs** - Students evaluate the origin and validity of self-imposed limitations and consider how mental blocks entrap them in fixed mindsets and comfort zones, result in wasted time and missed opportunities, distort their self-evaluations, and diminish their self-efficacy. **Eligibility Criteria** - Completion or enrollment in a relevant Bachelor's Degree program (e.g. international business, economics, entrepreneurship, management, commerce, marketing, accounting, finance, psychology, human resources, etc.) - Prior experience public speaking, delivering educational content, creating presentation media, and working with youth - Must be located in the GTA or able to commute to downtown Toronto for in-person facilitation of Session #1 **APPLY NOW** **Benefits**: - Flexible schedule - Work from home Schedule: - Monday to Friday **Education**: - Bachelor's Degree (preferred) Work Location: Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON M6P 1Z2
