Junior Estimator

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Ability to read and comprehend Specs and Drawings to provide a quality estimate. Prepare materials, labour, and equipment cost estimations necessary to carry out a project successfully according to proposals, plans, estimates, and specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project scope and requirements
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, and labour estimates
- Conduct on-site visits to assess project requirements and gather necessary information
- Negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients to secure competitive pricing
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, budgets, and project progress
- Utilize Project Management techniques to track project costs and timelines
- Present estimates and proposals to clients in a professional manner
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with Roof Consultants and Product Representatives
- Attend conventions, conferences and seminars related to the roofing industry.
- Manage Client Services through CRM tools and respond to website referrals.
- Perform outside sales activities and introduce SMT services to potential clients.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in Construction Estimating
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure competitive pricing
- Knowledge of software for reviewing and marking up drawings (Autocad - Adobe)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Business or Technical education is an asset. Experience in construction management or a related field is preferred.

Pay: $41,600.00-$52,000.00 per year
