We are looking for a responsible, enthusiastic Full Time _Estimator _to join our team. We offer competitive wages and extended health, dental, and vision coverage. Over view: Appraises vehicle damage to determine cost of repair for insurance claim settlement.
- Examines damaged vehicle to determine extent of structural, body, mechanical or interior damage.
- Estimates cost of labor and parts to repair or replace each damaged item.
- Reviews repair cost estimates with body shop manager or foreman.
- Determines feasibility of repair versus replacement of parts, such as bumpers, fenders and doors.
- Determines salvage value on total vehicle loss.
- Prepares insurance forms to indicate repair cost estimates and recommendations.
- Estimates cost of repainting, converting to special purposes or customizing undamaged vehicles.Other tasks as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Inspect vehicles for damages and evaluate using visual inspection, mechanical testing devices, road tests and information provided by the customer
- Evaluate necessity and cost of repairs
- Collect insurance estimates after reviewing damage
- Meet with customers to discuss damages, repair process and timeline and costs
- Create accurate estimates that detail repair and labor costs
- Place work orders detailing part replacements and repairs and enter into work management system
- Maintain communication with customer and be available to answer questions throughout the repair process
- Keep record of repair details and complete necessary paperwork
- Effectively manage multiple repairs simultaneously
- Implement an effective quality check process by inspecting repaired vehicles and ensuring the repair is up to standard
- Complete final paperwork and payment with customer
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times and create ongoing relationships with customers
- A valid driver's License

**Schedule**:

- 9 hour shift with lunch
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

**Experience**:

- Excellent customer service skills
- 1-3+ years’ experience in a similar role
- Proficiency with estimating systems (Mitchell, Audatex)
- Familiarity with various insurance direct repair guidelines
- Exceptional organization skills
- Time Efficiency is a must
- Reliable work history
- Junior estimator welcome

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
