**Your Opportunity**:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Office Assistant to join our team, focusing on Men’s and Women’s Sexual Health, LGBTQ+ health needs, and comprehensive sexual health services. This role is essential in facilitating a supportive and informative environment for all patients seeking assistance with sexual health, including but not limited to sexual dysfunctions, and hormone replacement therapies.

**Your Mark**:

- Scheduling appointments
- Preparing patient charts for medicals/appointments/visits. Prepare all required documents
- Send medical results, consult letters (photocopy and mail/fax) to medical professionals or specialists as required
- Assist with taking vitals, rooming patients, when appropriate
- Liaison/Coordinate with all internal staff and external service providers as required during medical process
- Responsible for entering medical bookings, appointments, updated demographics into the EMR
- Take payment or create invoices for uninsured services
- Communicate patient/clinic needs and requests to the Peak Team in a timely and effective manner
- Maintain patient confidentiality and other administrative duties as assigned

**Your Skills**:

- Medical Office Assistant Diploma or related medical experience required
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Experience with _Med Access EMR System_
- Excellent customer service with a proactive approach to problem solving
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Multitasking and prioritizing duties, in order to accomplish them in a timely manner
- Taking initiative and finding ways to make Peak even better

**Qualifications**
**- **Experience in healthcare administration or a related field is preferred
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to discuss sensitive topics empathetically and respectfully
- Familiarity with sexual health issues and services is a plus
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
