**Job Title: Bookkeeper**
**Location**: Hamilton, Ontario (Office - NOT remote)

Our growing agency is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Bookkeeper to manage our financial transactions and ensure accurate, timely billing. **Key Responsibilities**:
- Manage daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Handle per diem billing for foster care services.
- Process reimbursement billing for expenses.
- Prepare and submit billing for hours worked, according to various customer contracts.
- Reconcile monthly bank statements and financial records.
- Prepare financial reports, including profit and loss statements.
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with management and other departments to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting.
**Qualifications**:
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Sage, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of per diem and reimbursement billing processes.
- Ability to manage billing for multiple customers and contracts.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with foster care services (preferred, but not required).

Pay: $50,000.00-$62,500.00 per year
