**Position: Purchasing Officer**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Location**: Markham

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for demand planning and preparing an annual purchasing plan.
- Source vendors for direct and indirect purchasing, negotiate and finalize agreements.
- Prepare and execute purchase orders.
- Forecasting and inventory management.
- Liaise with cross functional teams to ensure goods are available to meet production requirements on time.
- Expedite overdue orders and rush requests.
- Maintain clear and organized purchasing records and accurate reports.
- Responsible for purchasing budgets and manage performance goals.
- Other tasks as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or above
- 2 years of demand planning experience, sourcing experience is a plus
- Natural Health Products experience is a plus.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong data analytical skills
- Well-organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Vlookup, Pivotable)
- ERP experience
- Bilingual in English and Mandarin or Cantonese
