**Production Coordinator**

Under the direction of the Construction Manager, the Production Coordinator will ensure the smooth transition of job files from Sales to Production to Construction and provide constant communication to all parties involved, striving for files to be released to construction on time and on budget. The Production Coordinator plays an important role in the planning of upcoming job starts, as well as budget reviews for completed jobs.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and issue variance purchase orders
- Prepare cost-to-completes in conjunction with estimating team and accounting
- Process change requests in Newstar
- Maintain efficient organization of records of all design, drawing, permit documents and correspondence regarding same
- Enter addendums into Newstar to capture drafting changes
- Miscellaneous accounting tasks
- Other duties and responsibilities assigned

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a production role with a new home builder
- Recognized as an Architectural Technologist or have related post-secondary educational experience
- Experience using NewStar Enterprise is an asset
- Knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to read blueprints
- Capability to create & maintain housing budgets & costing options
- Ability to manage a heavy workload
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment
- Ability to work in a team as well as individually
- Attention to detail
- Strong time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
