We’re looking for an Human Resources Coordinator / Admin to join our fun and driven team. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you’ll contribute your thoroughness, strong communication skills and attention to detail.

**Responsibilities**:

- Be Our Chief Values Champion, you live and breathe our values
- Champion talent strategies that enable desired business performance
- Support the achievement of business strategies by providing proactive insight based on people and organizational strengths and constraints
- Be responsible for bringing forward creative insights and recommendations to solve problems and remove constraints as it relates to people practices for the business
- Design and facilitate focus groups/one-on-one interviews to acquire employee and leader input and feedback.
- Measure and track the impact of all talent initiatives to ensure desired business outcome
- Support the management team
- Ensure all invoices in the weekly accounting package are accurate and balanced for submission
- Accountable for all cash deposits to be taken to the bank as required
- Ensure all petty cash transactions are in agreement with company policies
- Responsible for coding and entering all invoices
- Answer all enquiries from vendors regarding payment
- Ensuring all Employee and Vendor files are kept up to date.
- Receiving and distributing incoming and outgoing mail
- Accurately enter all labour, sales and expense information into the daily report
- Maintain an up-to-date daily cash sheet
- Maintain outside contractor tracking sheet for invoices and expenses
- Having a professional and confidential manner in all aspects of the business.
- Provide 2 weeks notice for staff approaching 3 months, yearly anniversaries and birthdays
- Purchase welcome gifts for new staff
- Maintain debit machine function coordinating repairs with Moneris

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS:

- 1-2 years of experience as Human Resources Coordinator / Admin
- Master communicator: written, visual and verbal
- Above average knowledge of excel
- Experience with Quickbooks invoice entry
- Master proof-reader
- Impeccable spelling and grammar
- Extreme attention to detail
- Passionate about hospitality
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency and prefers a dynamic team environment
- Excellent at managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting tight timelines
- Excellent at receiving and implementing feedback
- Self-awareness, with a desire for constant self-improvement (goal-oriented)

- Some after-hours work will be required
