**CHILDREN’S SPORTS INSTRUCTOR**

The Sports Instructor is responsible for the delivery of programs and services at the assigned BGC Niagara location(s). The position is accountable to the Aquatics, Recreation, and Community Programs Supervisor/Manager.
- $20.00/hr.
- Evenings, Part time,
- 4 - 8 hours per week
- Current Police Clearance with Vulnerable Sector Screen that is obtained within the last 6 months (Note: there is currently a 6-8 week delay in processing with the Niagara Regional Police)
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
- HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development (can obtain after hire)
- Experience working directly with children and/or delivering children’s programming
- Experience as a player or coach in relevant developmental/competitive sports (i.e. ball hockey, basketball, soccer, etc.)

Deliverables include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Provide safe, effective and efficient delivery of BGC Niagara programs
- Organize, develop, document and implement BGC Niagara programs including beginner-level soccer, basketball, floor/ball hockey, etc.
- Record attendance of participants
- Maintain accurate records with respect to program delivery
- Prepare and distribute participant evaluations
- Deliver programs in a safe manner
