Enedym specializes in the design and development of electric motors, power electronics, electrified powertrains, vehicle model-based design and optimization, virtual engineering and advanced controls and software.

**Your Opportunity**

The incumbent for this position will be accountable for leading a diverse and hands-on scope of duties relating to accounting and finance activities, including analysis, reconciling, reporting, process improvement, tax compliance and internal controls, as well as other projects.

**Primary Responsibilities**

✔ All accounting procedures and functions.

✔ Maintain, analyze, and reconcile general ledger accounts.

✔ Prepare and analyze monthly and quarterly financial reporting schedules and Board reporting in a timely and accurate manner.

✔ Supervise AP and AR activities.

✔ Ensuring government filings are completed on a timely and efficient manner.

✔ Tracking and reporting financials for large scale projects

✔ Develop, document and maintain a system of accounting policies and procedures and internal controls

✔ Prepare interim and year-end audit working papers and liaise with the external audit team

✔ Research and prepare analysis & guidance relating to accounting standards

✔ In collaboration with the operations team, implement and coordinate annual physical inventory.

✔ Routinely audits workflow to assure all accounting transactions are appropriately recorded and authorized.

✔ Other responsibilities and accountabilities as assigned.

**What You Bring to Enedym**

✔ Degree in Business, or other relevant discipline

✔ CPA Designation

✔ 3-5 years of full cycle accounting and FP&A experience

✔ Knowledge of ERP Systems

✔ Knowledge of Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills

✔ Excellent written and verbal communication skills

✔ Highly organized with the ability to multitask

✔ Demonstrates resourcefulness and sound judgment

✔ Demonstrates analytical and problem-solving skills

✔ Strength in working within a team environment

Enedym is located at 301A-175 Longwood Rd South, McMaster Innovation Park Hamilton which currently operates with a hybrid work model.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $72,500.00 per year
