Role and Responsibilities **Responsibilities**: Accountable for the product-line profitability, reporting and monitoring across the entire lifecycle of the product. Responsible for developing detailed product roadmap, business case and product requirements. Act as the first point of reference for all product related enquiries and work collaboratively with product teams, customer support, sales and Product Change Control Board on product evolution. Define technology insertion roadmap for specific platforms related to a specific product line. Provide input in business cases regarding specific product lines. Oversees the execution for specific platforms through interactions with product teams (engineering, operations, finance) on product changes. Interface with customer support on product evolution. Interface with sales support for standard presentations, campaign support, customer meetings. Develop, execute and manage pricing strategies for assigned categories that allow CAE to be competitive while maintain the maximum product gross margins. **Skills and Qualifications**: Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of relevant working experience in product management. Software development / technical background strongly preferred, but not required Experience in managing a cost center, budget or P&L, in excess of $1M Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle Effective project planning and project management skills Ability to lead and work effectively with multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams in a matrix organization Experience in developing product strategies and effectively communicating recommendations to executive management Excellent written and verbal communication skills Bilingual (French and English). Ability to coach and provide guidance. Excellent problem solving skills. **Major pluses**: - Agile Software development, Test Driven Development. - Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment. - Strong knowledge of various simulators. - Customer focused. - Result oriented.
