Custom Service Rep

**Job description**

Industrial Plastics & Paints is hiring a full-time Customer Service Rep with proven Fabrication capabilities.

This person will work directly with customers in-store to serve their needs, while then providing light-fabrication duties to fulfill orders using woodworking hand tools such as a panel-saw, table saw, drill and router to cut plastics in our Mission, BC branch.

Our most successful employees enjoy problem solving and are makers themselves with personal experience using the type of products we stock and sell.

We are eager to help you learn and train on the specifics of our products, if you are able to think quickly on your feet and are flexible to a wide-range of retail job demands.

To be successful in this role, you will need to:

- Genuinely care about providing our customers with technical assistance in selecting the best product solution.

- Work safely with at all times with shop equipment.
- Be respectful, direct and make decisions in the best interest of the customer.
- Available for full-time or part-time hours Monday - Friday. Saturday availability is a benefit.

Capabilities:

- Forklift certification or ability to become certified is required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Safely operate woodwork hand-tools, table-saw, router, drill press and similar equipment.
- Handle Cash and use POS to enter sales transactions.
- Read and follow blueprints and drawings.
- Create detailed hand-sketches with dimensions from customer's verbal instructions.

**Salary**: $24.00-$28.00 per hour + $300 per month productivity bonus.

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
