We are seeking a dedicated and personable Guest Service Agent to join our team at Quality Inn - Owen Sound. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your ability to communicate effectively and manage guest needs will be vital in creating memorable experiences for all who visit our establishment.

**Duties**
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest accounts.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, providing information about hotel services and local attractions.
- Handle phone calls with professionalism, utilizing effective phone etiquette to assist callers.
- Maintain the front desk area, ensuring it is organized and welcoming at all times.
- Process reservations and cancellations while adhering to hotel policies.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to fulfill guest requests and resolve issues promptly.
- Assist in managing guest feedback, utilizing it to improve service quality continuously.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
- Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests.
- Strong knowledge of front desk operations within a hotel environment is advantageous.
- Proficiency in using phone systems and computer software related to guest services.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences are essential for success in this role.
