**INTRODUCTION**

Grand Tappattoo Resort is hiring to fill the position of Front Desk Agent. Our property, a rustic Resort-Hotel, is the perfect complement to year-round relaxation, fun and athletic appetites. The 53 room lakefront year round resort is situated on beautiful Otter Lake, just south of Parry Sound and twenty minutes from the historical village of Rosseau. Traditions truly begin here at Grand Tappattoo Resort

**REQUIREMENTS**

Languages: English

Experience: 1 to less than 7 months

Business Equipment and Computer Applications: Multi-line telephone system; Computerized reservation system; Word processing software; Database software; Basic computer skills (will train); General office equipment; Internet browser

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

As a front desk agent, you will be required to Register arriving guests and assign rooms; Process group arrivals and departures; Take, cancel and change room reservations; Process telephone calls; Provide information on hotel facilities and services; Provide general information about points of interest in the area; Provide information about services available in the community; Arrange services required for guests with special needs; Process wake-up calls; Investigate and resolve complaints and claims; Process guests' departures, calculate charges and receive payments; Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms; Maintain occupancy statistics; Customer service oriented; Follow emergency and safety procedures; Work with mínimal supervision; Clerical duties (i.e. faxing, filing, photocopying); Keyboarding; Perform light housekeeping and cleaning.Any other duties as assigned by management.
