Join AstraZeneca as a Program Manager in Mississauga and be part of the exciting growth through innovation As a founding member of the GBS Project Management Office (Enterprise PMO), you will work within the Enabling business area to deliver high-quality project management capabilities across the company. In this role, you will be accountable for managing projects that deliver >$500k of benefits and task managing a project team of typically no more than 10-20 people. You will establish Communities of Practice with other Project Managers and Leads, identify and recruit resources needed to deliver specific projects, define and implement project governance, capture scope and requirements, ensure change management is considered from the outset, and work with the project team to build and deliver detailed project plans. Essential for the role: - Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance, Business, or Healthcare-related major - Demonstrated ability in program/project management for medium-complexity projects with global reach - Strong communication and relationship-building skills - Experience considering risks, evaluating alternatives, and encouraging input and new insights from others - Ability to clearly articulate sophisticated concepts - Ability to perform effectively when faced with unclear solutions or opposing viewpoints - Proven track record in delivering high-risk projects - Experience of managing and controlling a project budget Desirable for the role: - Project Management Certification - Management Consulting experience - Pharmaceutical or equivalent global & complex organization experience Why AstraZeneca?
