On behalf of our Financial Services client, Procom is searching for a Program Manager (Fundamental Review of the Trading Book) for a 9 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 3 days onsite at our client's Mississauga office.

Program Manager (Fundamental Review of the Trading Book) - Job Description:

The project involves managing the Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB) initiative, focusing on regulatory compliance and risk management in Capital Markets. The role requires overseeing the timely execution of deliverables across multiple workstreams and providing subject matter expertise in Markets products.

Program Manager (Fundamental Review of the Trading Book) - Responsibilities:


• Drive transformation and change management initiatives in Capital Markets


• Manage test phases and use tools like JIRA


• Influence and build relationships with Global Markets front-to-back stakeholders


• Ensure target state tools, processes, and controls are effectively socialized and approved


• Manage dependencies across initiatives with Risk Managers, Product Owners, and Technology teams


• Identify and resolve or escalate risks and issues promptly


• Engage senior stakeholders continuously


• Produce project update materials tailored to various forums and committees

Program Manager (Fundamental Review of the Trading Book) - Mandatory Skills:


• Experience with FRTB, specifically around FX Delta and FX Risk management


• Strong track record in strategic project management and delivering complex solutions


• Significant experience in Capital Markets Transformation


• Excellent oral and written communication skills


• Ability to drive change across a global organization


• Demonstrated analytical skills with problem-solving capability


• Minimum of 10 years of project management experience

Program Manager (Fundamental Review of the Trading Book) – Nice-to-Have Skills:


• Experience in Markets, Risk, and Regulatory related projects/programs


• Bachelor's/University degree in relevant fields, Master's degree preferred


• Project Management certifications e.g., PMP or equivalent


• Experience analyzing large datasets using SQL and Excel


• Thought leadership in target state design
